Brooklyn rapper and international style god Theophilus London released his lastest mixtape “Rose Island Vol 1” and I am beyond impressed with it. He definitely took things to another level on Rose Island  with this being the largest collection of music he has released to date (Free BTW). If you want to hear some quality music + a pretty epic feature from BIG BOI.. I highly recommend you #beBOLD and download! I have posted a few of my favorites from the mixtape and the download link below.

Monsters of Success [M.O.S] recently had a video release party for their new single LOVE GAME. The hook is catchy enough for me to randomly sing (which has been happening) and rapper S.HIM offers listeners solid verses to compliment Reece’s R&B flow. The video was well shot from beginning to end so shout out to Blue Anchor Productions. Check out LOVE GAME  below. 

Reggae artist Kranuim delivers a smooth cover of Frank Oceans “We All Try” that I am in love with. Keep Kranuim on your radar because he is an artist that is on the rise.  Check “Gotta Believe” out below. S/o to @maebo for sending this my way. 

This new Keyshia Cole song speaks to my feelings so well. I definitely see a hit with this track, she is giving me that old Keyshia I fell in love with.  Check it out below.

Kanye & Pusha gave us a taste of “New God Flow” last night at the BET Awards and today the full track has surfaced. I wasn’t really impressed last night, but after hearing the actual track I have a change of heart. First off the beat is everythinnnng. I’m a Pusha T fan, he always delivers on collabos with Kanye and he did just that on this track. Kanye slayed (as he usually does) and I enjoyed his energy and flow throughout the song. Will I Iove this as much as “Christian Dior Denim Flow” ? only time will tell…

Greetings my BOLD lovers and friends!!  It has been a minute since I have posted on the blog. Transitioning between college and post grad life was well…. a transition. The summer has officially begun and my excitement about music is in full speed. I recently moved back New York City and I already have come across some talented indie artists. That being said, look forward to someBOLDspotlight posts and interviews on artists that I stumble upon as I reacquaint myself with the city and all the musical goodness it has to offer.

I am a music fanatic, but above all I am a lover of culture and the arts. The past few months I have done some thinking on the direction I want to take the blog. There is so much more that I discover while navigating and loving life besides music that I decided to have A BOLD Decision reflect a glimpse that. Stay tuned for posts and information on dope venues such as bars and restaurants that are worth a visit.  All things BOLD of course :-) 

Also.. look forward to some guest bloggers from time to time touching on topics that range from fashion to love and relationships.
